First of all, I want to thank you very much for the repeated prompt delivery, for the gift and for the enclosed personal lines, I am always very happy! I would like to give you feedback on the hemp products, which have hit us like a bomb:
I ordered the CBD pellets and the hemp sticks with the first delivery. My two young horses both get just under 40g daily, our old dog gets a few pellets served on the palm. Subsequent effect as follows after 3-4 weeks of feeding:
A dog that discovers joy of life again
Our dog Gioio is now 11.5 years old, has a heart condition and after a tick bite last year his mobility was very poor. We only took him outside for walks and that was a challenge due to the movement restrictions of the hip. It took us easily 1/2 hour to walk 200m. He could no longer lift his leg to pee, he could only walk standing up, it was difficult for him to stand up, inclines were impossible, not even a village round was possible anymore. He hardly participated in everyday life anymore, slept most of the time. He was given 2 different heart medications, which also did not show much success. We have already prepared ourselves emotionally for a foreseeable farewell.
The pellets were actually meant for our horses and not for the dog, but since he eats everything, I figured it probably couldn't hurt and gave him some pellets palm side down.
After 3 days I became suspicious, as he suddenly became "bright-eyed" at every movement I made, big eyes, alert look, ears erect. As it progressed, he began to suddenly move around outside again, he was suddenly trotting piecemeal again, I could begin to continuously make more meters again and I could walk again (!) and not sneak. He now runs the stairs faster than I do, the village round is now possible in extended form, I have stopped the heart medication. He pees with leg up again and scrambles up the embankments for his business again.
A horse with head cinema finds inner peace
Horse Rossi ( born 2017) was very special from baby on, since weanling in our possession. He has always been a distrustful type with no confidence, but with a lot of inner turmoil. He put down hard, changes or flexibility outside of a fixed structure - he can't handle that. He has a dreamlike potential for movement and performance, but due to his head cinema it is not always possible to call it up. He gets in his own way, so to speak.
Rossi gets just under 40g of CBD pellets, with which he is well positioned, with more he completely turns off, quasi reacts paradoxically. With the 40g daily, he is now starting to deal with everyday situations without wanting to flee right away. He is starting to listen better, is motivated and we have even been out for a round in the countryside and he has - with the utmost self-control - kept his nerve and even dared to walk at the front on the way back. Rossi now puts himself down at night.
An introverted horse no longer has stomach problems
Horse Emil (born 2018), also since weanling in our possession, is exactly the opposite type, with which you can really do everything, calm, open to everything and everyone and a dream character. However, I have come to realize that as an introverted type, he eats a lot into himself, which then shows with stomach symptoms or after a change of stables, he has not laid down at night to date. As a yearling he had an intolerance to phenylbutazone, the after-effects of which we are still dealing with today (weakened immune system, intestinal dysbiosis, sluggish coat change, recurring thrush, derailed liver values).
Emil also gets 40g and has now almost his complete winter coat evenly pushed, he shines like a bacon rind. The hooves are drying out within a very short time, i.e. no more greasy rot. Emil lays down again at night.
Fighting inflammation as the primary goal
Both of my horses had acute laryngitis before I started feeding them hemp. That was actually the main reason I wanted to try hemp, namely to strengthen their defenses. Sputolysin from the vet helped very limited. From feeding the hemp, they both started producing mucus and coughing it up. Within 1 week the acute stage was over and I started training again. I could have saved all the medication from the vet because it did nothing.
I can only say thank you and am thrilled how all my animals are flourishing at the moment.
Best regards from Tyrol
