Having had a very positive experience with the CBD/CBG Booster in winter 2023, I decided to try the newly released arthroFIT. After 10 weeks of stall rest with a support bandage, we were allowed to begin gradual movement. She moved surprisingly well and behaved very calmly and carefully!
Normally, she is an explosive, temperamental, somewhat reckless horse. This has changed thanks to CBD oil and arthroFIT.
Even though the therapy plan included 6 months of stall rest and controlled walking, I decided to move her to a 2-horse paddock, adjacent to a 3-horse paddock. Before the move, I started feeding StressAWAY, currently at half the recommended dose, along with ArthroFIT.
The move took place in week 12. Initially, she had a type of paddock box for 2 weeks—a box with a covered paddock and a shared hay rack with 4 other horses. I had various concerns, none of which came true. There was no hysterical running in and out of the box. After 1.5 weeks, she had established herself as a fair leader. There is a nice, calm atmosphere among the 5 mares.
After 2 weeks, I attempted to let the 2 mares onto the pasture together. It was as if she had never known anything else. She enjoys the new freedom remarkably calmly. I never thought my usually explosive mare could remain so cool, especially since she had only known stall confinement before. You can see how happy she is now, even though she probably still experiences some pain with certain movements. I am very optimistic that with the excellent support from arthroFIT, she will soon be able to live pain-free again.
