Fitting for our fall shooting, I finally wanted to report on my experiences with the products of the seewinkler hemp factory. Larry gets the hemp flower powder (CBD powder) from me for about two months.
My gelding Larry has been struggling with a strong allergy for a long time, which has demanded a lot from us, especially in autumn and spring. This year we had again an odyssey behind us - all expectorants, medications, a bronchoscopy to the permanent administration of cortisone, we have left no stone unturned. Daily inhalation, steamed hay, sawdust and fresh air around the clock have been the order of the day for us for a long time. Thus, one thing can be summed up: There is nothing I could improve for my Larry.
Unfortunately, even all these measures did not really bring improvement, the mucus just did not want to come out, although the mucus was visible on the bronchoscopy. Through the advice of an acquaintance, who knew our story very well, I became aware of the Seewinkler Hemp Factory and was initially somewhat skeptical whether this could really work.
Then I thought: Never mind, you have nothing to lose and we have tried everything else... So I started to feed Larry the CBD powder, which he accepted from the beginning in his mash - he really seems to like it :)
For the first three weeks, I didn't really notice any difference - I was also advised that the CBD needs a certain lead time before you notice an effect. But shortly before our first bucket of CBD powder was emptied, the snot suddenly ran - the stuck mucus finally came up. I was still very skeptical and didn't want to get too excited just yet....
Since I unfortunately did not order supplies in time, Larry had no support from the CBD powder for about 2.5 weeks and I noticed a deterioration soon after - he coughed more again and the phlegm stayed out again.
In the meantime, I had also discontinued the cortisone - so the positive effects had to be related to the CBD powder, because he was no longer receiving any other medical support (a previous attempt to discontinue cortisone before the CBD powder failed after two days...). Therefore, I already longed for the CBD powder order and also immediately started again with the full dose.
Now the second bucket is also nearing the end and I can give the following conclusion:
- Larry finally snorts again
- His coat is shiny
- He doesn't itch so often during the coat change (this was a disaster the years before)
- Although he coughs from time to time, we can finally increase the movement again
And a great side effect: Larry and Queksi LOVE the CBD powder and my mare is completely crazy about the hemp sticks.
I have now also ordered the hemp oil for Larry to support him optimally during the change of coat and to increase his well-being even more. My dog Rocky gets from now on the CBD oil with 10%.
I am really happy to have tried the hemp products, because with Larry you can definitely see a clear positive development - even if of course you can't expect miracles. I am already very excited about how it will continue with my four-legged friends and the hemp products and will be happy to report again.
