Bajou has tendon problems and needs support during recovery and box rest.
In October 2022, we received a diagnosis of a slightly thickened deep flexor tendon on the left rear. Previously we were on a course and Mr. Tinker made quite a cold start in the paddock, which was unknown to him. Presumption in the 10 min attack of urge to move with buck, run, slide and fall down he has probably injured himself. Yes, Bajou sometimes tends to exaggerate. With the diagnosis it meant min 8 weeks of walking and solitary confinement on the paddock. Phew he was good in training and now down to zero... quickly it was clear to me I need something to help us get through this time. In an email described my concern and received great advice. CBD powder in combination with hemp seeds. My wish was to bring Bajou mentally well through this time, which has also worked very well. Unfortunately, he had caught unwanted side effects due to the removal of the hangings and the healing was really slow. But after 5 months I can say that we have come through this time well, except for a few very few slips.
But what really surprised me is that Bajou has to fight with a slight watery stool. This sometimes more, sometimes less. No examination brought so far a result and nothing helped so correctly. I had already resigned myself to it. After a few weeks with the hemp products, the fecal water was gone. Hm first not the hemp assigned. Actually, I wanted to let it sneak out. So slowly dosed down and so at 5 g a day came the fecal water again.
So I will now reorder a larger package unit and see if the fecal water is better again. How well the tendon looks I can not say, after the overreaction of his immune system to the shearing for the ultrasound examination, I and the vet decided that we do not take this risk again, neither for Bajou nor for my wallet. But he is running well again and is now allowed to step a little more after almost 5 months. Conclusion I am convinced of the products and had a result which I had not so much in focus. Rather, I was concerned that the issue of watery stool could get worse - but on the contrary.
